How I got here

I grew this agency on search, not ads

RapidWebLaunch started with no budget and no clients. I wrote about web design for small businesses, week after week, and Google started sending people my way.

For years that was the whole marketing plan, along with word of mouth. So when I say I know what moves a small business up the results, it’s because I did it for my own first.

What changed

AI flooded the internet with content. Local is the way through.

Anyone with a phone can publish a thousand words on anything now, so the old play of out-writing everyone costs more every month.

What AI can’t fake is a real business at a real address with real reviews. Google leans on those signals for every “near me” search, and that’s where a local business can still win. That’s the work I do.

AI search

Now the AI answers you too

Google says more than 1.5 billion people now see AI Overviews, and ChatGPT, Perplexity and Google’s AI Mode answer “who’s a good plumber near me?” with a name, a rating and a link.

Those answers are built from the same things I work on every month: a complete Google Business Profile, real reviews, consistent business details and pages that answer plainly. Google’s own guidance says there’s no separate trick for its AI features, just the fundamentals done properly.

So it’s one service and three doors: the list, the map and the answer.

The opportunity

Most of your competitors skip the basics

I audited 91,904 small business websites across North America this year. Here’s what the ones in your town are probably missing.

What I do every month

Everything off the page, handled

Your website, and the on-page SEO that comes with it, is included. This is the rest of the job, on Google, on the map and in AI answers, the part most agencies outsource and most owners never see.

  • A full audit first

Before I touch anything I map where you rank, what’s broken and who’s beating you.

  • A keyword plan

The searches your customers actually type, matched to the pages that should win them.

  • Google Business Profile

Photos, services, posts, Q&A and every detail Google checks before it puts you on the map.

  • Reviews

Steady new reviews, every one answered, and your best ones pulled onto your site.

  • Citations and listings

Your name, address and phone made consistent across the directories Google trusts.

  • Local content

Pages and posts written for your area and your services, not generic filler.

  • Technical fixes

Speed, mobile, indexing and the small errors that quietly hold rankings down.

  • Rank tracking and reporting

A monthly report in real numbers: rankings, traffic, leads, and what I’m doing next.

  • AI-readable business data

Structured data for your business, services, hours, reviews and FAQs, so Google and the assistants built on it read you without guessing.

  • Answer-first pages

Short, direct answers to the questions people actually ask, written for your area, in a form an assistant can quote.

Website included

Need the website too? It’s included.

Most people searching for SEO also need the site fixed, and I’m not going to sell you two things when one does the job.

Every SEO client gets the full $95-a-month website plan at no extra charge: a site built for you, hosted, kept up to date, with the on-page SEO already done. One monthly price, one person doing all of it.

Already have a site? I’ll still build you a new one, and it costs you nothing extra.

No exceptions

I don’t work on WordPress, Wix or Squarespace. I build you something better.

Agencies love to say they’ll work on whatever you’ve got. I won’t, and it isn’t snobbery. A site on a page builder drags a theme, a stack of plugins and somebody else’s hosting behind it, and I can’t fix speed or structure I don’t control. So every SEO client gets a site built by me, on my stack, included. Your rankings sit on a foundation I can actually stand behind.

Across the 91,904 sites in my audit, the average score on Google’s mobile speed test is 58 out of 100. Google doesn’t call a score good until it clears 90.

Reporting

See what I did and what it moved, any day you like

No forty-page PDF and no jargon. Your client portal shows it live:

  • The calls and form leads that came in, and where they came from
  • Who’s visiting your site and which pages they read
  • The updates you’ve asked for and where each one is at
  • Once a month, a two-page rankings report: where you rank, what changed, what I did and what’s next
  • A button that books a call with me when you have questions
Pricing

What I look at

  • How you show up for your service and your city
  • Your Google Business Profile, top to bottom
  • Speed, and how it reads on a phone
  • The titles, descriptions and schema Google reads
  • The three things I’d fix first

How to choose a local SEO agency

Everyone makes the same promises. Here’s how to tell who can keep them.

They're trustworthy

Have a conversation with the SEO expert. (Like, talking. No email or text.) You'll quickly get a feel of what kind of person they are.

They're realistic

Are they making grandiose claims and guarantees? Sounds lovely. But it's likely not true. No SEO expert can guarantee anything.

Man with a beard in a suit, smiling, with colorful graphics of roses and arrows above his head.

They're proven

Unless they're new (at which point you can likely get them at a discount), they should have case studies to prove their expertise.

They rank

Would you hire a mechanic that drives a piece of junk? A cleaner with a dirty home? So why hire an SEO expert that doesn't rank?

FAQs

Frequently asked questions about local SEO

You asked, I answered.

How much does local SEO cost?

$995 a month, month to month. No setup fee, no contract, and the website is included. Most agencies want a six to twelve month commitment before they lift a finger. I’d rather earn it every month.

How long until I see results?

Changes to your Google Business Profile can show within weeks. Rankings for competitive local searches usually take three to six months. Anyone promising page one in 30 days is guessing or cheating.

Is the website included?

Yes. Every SEO client gets the full $95-a-month website plan at no extra charge: a site built for you, hosted, kept up to date, with the on-page SEO done. Local SEO is everything off it: your Google profile, reviews, citations, listings and local content. One price covers both.

Can you work on my existing WordPress, Wix or Squarespace site?

No, and I’m upfront about it. I can’t fix speed or structure I don’t control, so I build every SEO client a new site on my own stack, included in the price. Your content, your photos and your reviews come with you, and the old site stays live until the new one is ready.

Can you guarantee rankings?

No, and nobody honest can. Google decides. What I can guarantee is that the work gets done properly every month and that you’ll see exactly what I did.

What’s in the monthly report?

Your rankings for the searches we’re targeting, traffic, leads and what changed. Two pages, not forty. If nothing is moving after six months I’ll say so and we’ll decide together what to do.

Is local SEO different from regular SEO?

Yes. Local SEO gets you into the map results and the “near me” searches for your area. Regular SEO ranks your pages for broader terms anywhere. If your customers come to you, or you go to them, local is where the money is.

Will this get me into ChatGPT and Google’s AI answers?

Nobody can promise a spot in an AI answer, and Google’s own guidance says there’s no separate trick for its AI features. Those answers pull from your Google profile, your reviews, consistent business details and pages that answer plainly, which is exactly what this service builds. Each month I check where you’re showing up and adjust.

What if I want to stop?

Cancel any month. Your Google profile, your reviews and your listings are yours. I never hold them hostage. If you want to keep the website, it carries on at $95 a month.
