Good questions to ask first
What business owners usually want to know before they switch.
Is this the right fit for me?
It is if you'd rather run your business than run a website. This is a managed service: we build it, host it, keep it fast and make your changes, so you never have to think about it. If you want to redesign pages and move things around yourself, a DIY builder like Wix or Squarespace will suit you better, and that's completely fine.
Can I edit the site myself?
Yes, the simple things. Your site comes with an easy editor for blog posts, FAQs and similar content, so you can make those changes yourself whenever you like. Everything else, from new pages to layout and design changes, you just send to Patrick by text or email and it gets done. Unlimited Updates are included in the plan.
Is the price in USD or CAD?
USD. The plan is $95 USD a month, charged in US dollars. If you're in Canada or anywhere else, your bank converts it at its usual rate.
Can you use my own photos and videos?
Absolutely, and we'd love to. Real photos and video of you, your team and your work beat anything we could make. Send over whatever you have and we'll build it in. Where there's a gap, we fill it with custom illustrations.
I already have a website. Will I lose my Google rankings?
Moving is the delicate part of any rebuild, so we plan for it. You keep your domain name. Every page on your old site gets a permanent (301) redirect to its new address, so Google and anyone following an old link land in the right place. We keep your business name, address and phone number exactly the same, submit the new sitemap to Google Search Console and watch it closely after launch. If you can share your Search Console access up front, we'll see exactly which pages bring in your traffic today and protect those first.
What do I get if I cancel?
The whole thing. You get the entire website, every file of it, so you can host it anywhere and do whatever you want with it. Cancelling ends the monthly plan and the hosting, changes and support that come with it. One honest note: it's a custom-coded site, not a drag-and-drop builder, so once you leave, bigger changes would need a web developer.
