Your fitness center website should sign up new members and keep current ones engaged without you lifting a finger. Here are the 6 essential features that convert motivation into memberships:
Show all tier options from basic access to premium packages with clear costs and included benefits.
Display current class times organized by type and intensity with the ability to reserve spots.
Give prospects a walkthrough of your gym, equipment, locker rooms, and amenities with photos or video.
Promote day passes or trial memberships prominently to lower the barrier for first-time visitors.
Introduce your staff with credentials, training styles, and areas of expertise like weight loss or strength.
Share before/after photos and success stories with permission to inspire and prove results.
I sampled 3,611 gyms across 24 cities and audited every website I could find, 2,661 of them. Here is how the competition stacks up, and where it slips.
74 out of 100
Grade C That puts Gyms tied 10th of 47 industries I audited.
Longer bar, more local sites getting it wrong. The most common miss: 70% of the sites I audited have no contact form on the homepage.
The average across all 91,904 websites I audited.
A chain location comes with a marketing department. These are the checks where the two groups split hardest. The widest gap is analytics: 51% of independents against 90% of chains.
WordPress is behind 32% of the sites I audited here. Some sites run more than one and some I could not identify, so these do not add up to 100%.

New members decide on a gym fast when motivation is high. Here is how we make sure your site shows up for local searches, loads well on mobile, and signs people up while they are ready.
Your monthly cleaning service costs more than your website. But your site generates memberships while you sleep.
Live in 1 week and start booking memberships. Bloated agencies take 8-12 weeks minimum for what we build in 7 days.
New members research gyms on phones after seeing workout posts on Instagram. Mobile class schedules and virtual tours convert social media traffic.
Optimized for 'gym near me' and workout-style searches with class schedule schema. Gym searches spike seasonally. We structure sites to capture New Year and summer surges.
Update class schedules, add new instructors, or promote membership specials. Routine edits like these have a 72-hour target for timely fitness campaign launches.

Free trial requests and membership questions land in your client portal the moment they’re sent, with the page each one came from. Visitors are charted month by month, so January looks like January. Every update you’ve asked for, from new class times to a fresh set of photos, shows its status. Your files and billing are right there, along with a button that books a call with Patrick.
Hero photo’s swapped and live. Anything else this week?
Here is exactly what you get from day one.
A professional website built to capture local fitness searches and convert seasonal surges into new member signups. Mobile-ready and built to rank.
We keep your site secure, updated, and running smoothly every month. Hosting, maintenance, and monthly reports all included.
On-page SEO built in from the start so your gym shows up when locals are searching for a place to work out nearby.
Every site includes on-page SEO, calendar booking integrations, automated reviews, social media integrations, and responsive design. Everything a gym needs to capture seasonal search surges and sign up new members, built in from day one.

Ask a gym web designer what a site costs and watch them reach for a calculator. Ours is $95 a month, all of it included, with nothing to pay upfront. The site belongs to you from the first month, so start signing up members on day one and leave whenever you like.
How much do I pay today?
$0 to build. Design, words, illustrations, SEO, launch. Your first $95 is your first month, and you don’t pay a cent before your website is live and working for you.
Your first month. Nothing before it.
Is it really one number?
No Basic, Pro or Business. The $95 covers the build, hosting, on-page SEO, unlimited updates, monthly reports and direct access to Patrick. There’s no plan above it, because there isn’t one.
Do I actually own it?
Your domain, your design, your words, your data. The site belongs to you from the first month. Stay because you want to, not because you’re paying something off.
What if I want to leave?
No contract, no lock-in, no exit fee. We have to earn it again every 30 days, which is exactly the point. Go ahead and press the button.
Go on, press it.
That’s it. That’s the whole cancellation.
Your monthly cleaning bill probably costs more. Get started and get a site that signs up new members while you are running classes.
One plan, because you should not have to study a comparison table to buy a website. Every feature below is included from day one.
$95/month
$0 to build. No contract. Cancel anytime.
Your website is yours from day one.
Imagine what you could accomplish with more than just a Home, About and Contact page.
Hand-coded and served from data centers around the world, not a page builder dragging its own weight around. Fast on any phone, on any connection.
No junky stock photos or cookie cutter icons here.
Great copywriting is the difference between a website that sells and one that doesn't.
Essentially this means making it as easy as possible for Google and AI to find you.
Forms that actually convert visitors into leads.
Plain, simple, straightforward, valuable analytics anyone can read.
Local SEO requires hyper-local intent targeting. Almost every service-based business needs this!
Blogs are awesome if they are used authentically. The age of purely info-based content is over.
We can integrate your social media content directly into your website. Strategically, of course. We don't want visitors getting distracted!
Automatically add new reviews from review platforms (Google, Yelp, etc) directly into your website.
Let visitors book meetings, sessions and appointments directly through your site.
Email newsletters help turn your visitors into subscribers.
Your Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions are generated by a specialist legal-policy service and update automatically as privacy laws change. Included, with nothing for you to maintain.
We connect your forms to the CRM you already use: HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho and most other software that connects with outside apps. A custom system gets its own scope.
Automations that send each new lead to the right person, log it in your spreadsheets and handle the follow-up.
Not all hosting is created equal. If you want the Taco Bell of web hosting, Bluehost is waiting for you.
Changes to hours, photos, text and services are included. Routine edits have a 72-hour target; larger requests get an agreed scope and completion date.
No call centers, no offshoring, just your friendly neighborhood Patrick. Based in North America, native English speaker, and fluent in Spanish if that is easier for you.
Here is exactly how we go from zero to a live gym website.
There's exactly one, and everything is in it. Tap the button, check out securely, and you're done in about two minutes.
No questionnaire. We research your business online and ask only for missing details or access. You review the site before it goes live.
Design, words, photos, SEO, forms, speed. We do all of it, and you see it before anyone else does.
We point your domain at our servers, handle every technical detail, and flip the switch.
Updates, fixes, reports, security, backups. Every month, for as long as you're with us, at no extra cost.

Everything you want to know about getting a website built for your gym.
Yes. Mystery pricing is outdated. Show your tiers clearly (Basic, Premium, etc.) with what's included. People are comparison shopping. If they can't see prices, they're checking out gyms that are transparent first.
Absolutely. Members want to reserve spin class spots at midnight, not call during staffed hours. Online booking fills classes and reduces no-shows. It's expected in 2026, not optional.
Prominent free trial or guest pass offer with online scheduling. Make it one-click easy to book their first visit. Friction kills trial signups. The easier you make trying your gym, the more members you'll convert.
If you have permission, absolutely. Real before/after photos with member testimonials are your best marketing. Stock fitness photos don't inspire. Actual member results prove your gym delivers.
Emphasize community, personal training, specialized classes, or whatever makes you different. Planet Fitness has cheap prices. You have something better. Make that clear. Compete on value, not price.
Critical. People research gyms on phones while driving by or during lunch breaks. If class schedules don't load on mobile or trial signup is broken, they join the gym with a working site.
Don't compete on price. Compete on community, classes, personal training, and results. Planet Fitness has $10 memberships. You have community and transformation. Value beats price.
With permission, absolutely. Real member before/afters with their stories prove results better than any marketing copy. Anonymous stock fitness photos inspire no one.
Start with a great mobile website. Add an app later if members request it and you'll maintain it. A poorly updated app is worse than a good mobile site.
Google Ads for '[city] gym' can get trial signups today. For organic SEO, 60-90 days to rank locally. Most gyms see better ROI from local ads than pure organic traffic.
