24/7 emergency service button
Make your emergency number prominent with click-to-call on mobile for heating and cooling crises.
Most HVAC websites look like they were built in 2005. Your customers are searching on their phones during an emergency at 2 AM. Will they find your click-to-call button or your competitor's?

Your HVAC website isn't just a digital brochure, it's a 24/7 sales and service tool that generates emergency calls and books preventive maintenance. Here are the 6 essential features that turn website visitors into paying customers:
Make your emergency number prominent with click-to-call on mobile for heating and cooling crises.
Show exactly which cities and zip codes you serve so customers know if you're available.
Offer preventive maintenance subscriptions with clear benefits like priority service and discounts.
Help customers see monthly payment options for expensive system replacements or upgrades.
Display recent projects from old units to new efficient systems with customer testimonials.
Show potential utility bill savings from upgrading to newer, more efficient HVAC systems.
I sampled 2,429 HVAC companies across 24 cities, then audited the 1,839 websites among them. Here is where the score comes from, what those sites run on, and where the points are going.
76/100
Grade C, tied 3rd of 47 industries I audited
The score is ten weighted checks, ranked here by what each one costs. The biggest single loss is page speed, at 5.6 of its 15 points. Longer bar, more points left on the table.
24 points of 100 left on the table. Track length is the check's weight, so a five-point check can never cost what a fifteen-point one does. Each check is averaged across the 24 markets, the same way the score itself is built, so these ten bars add back to the 76 above. The table at the foot of this section pools by sample size instead, which answers a different question and lands a little differently. Weights are on the methodology page.
I can tell a franchise or chain location from an independent, so here are both, on the checks where they split hardest. The widest gap is blogging: 42% of independents against 74% of chains.
Scale runs 0 to 100%. Only the checks where both groups were measured the same way are comparable, so speed and the meta checks sit this one out.
The platform behind each of the 1,839 homepages I audited, where I could identify one.
A platform was identified on 69% of audited sites. The rest are hand-built or run something the fingerprinting misses, and a site can match more than one, so these do not sum to 100%.
Every rate above has its own denominator. This is where they come from, out of the 2,549 businesses in this trade in my listings census.
Of the sites that never made it into the audit, 151 would not load, 39 blocked me, and 10 turned out to be a social profile rather than a website. 168 of the businesses sampled are chain or franchise locations. Full method on the methodology page.

HVAC searches are urgent, seasonal, and local. Patrick covers the design decisions that get your business in front of homeowners the moment their system breaks down.
Browse our HVAC website examples and see how we build sites that rank for urgent seasonal searches and capture service calls from homeowners the moment a system breaks down.
AC breaks in July and heat fails in January. Here is how we make sure your business shows up the moment homeowners search in a panic and captures those calls before a competitor does.
Every 'AC repair near me' search you don't capture is a $300-500 service call going to a competitor. Miss a single one and you've lost more than three months of website cost.
Live in 1 week so emergency callers find you tonight. Slow developers take months leaving you invisible.
AC breakdowns get searched on phones during heat waves while sweating in living rooms. Mobile sites with emergency service forms convert desperate homeowners.
Structured for 'AC repair near me' and emergency HVAC searches. HVAC searches are urgent, seasonal, and local. We optimize for immediate visibility during breakdowns.
Update emergency availability, adjust seasonal pricing, or add new certifications. We handle edits within 72 hours for time-sensitive service updates.
Work directly with Patrick. Busy season decisions happen in real time. Same-day answers when your calendar is filling up.
Every one of these came from a real client who hired us. Read them and see why we're different.

Every month you get a plain-English report showing what was done on your site, how your local search visibility is trending through season changes, and how many service calls came in through your site.
Here is exactly what you get from day one.
A professional website built to capture urgent seasonal searches and convert them into booked service calls at any hour. Mobile-ready and built to rank.
We keep your site secure, updated, and available 24/7 every month. Hosting, maintenance, and monthly reports all included.
On-page SEO built in from the start so your business shows up when homeowners are searching for HVAC repair or installation right now.
Every site includes on-page SEO, custom emergency contact forms, automated review collection, speed optimization, and uptime monitoring. Everything an HVAC company needs to capture urgent seasonal searches any time of day, built in from day one.

There is nothing to finance here. Your HVAC website costs $0 to build, then $95 a month for everything after that. The site is yours from the first month, not after two years of payments. Start generating emergency calls and maintenance contracts on day one, and cancel any month you like.
Missing one service call costs more than three months of website. Get started and make sure your business shows up the next time a furnace dies in February.
One plan, because you should not have to study a comparison table to buy a website. Every feature below is included from day one.
$95/month
$0 to build. No contract. Cancel anytime.
Your website is yours from day one, not after two years of payments.
Imagine what you could accomplish with more than just a Home, About and Contact page.
No junky stock photos or cookie cutter icons here.
Great copywriting is the difference between a website that sells and one that doesn't.
Essentially this means making it as easy as possible for Google and AI to find you.
Forms that actually convert visitors into leads.
Plain, simple, straightforward, valuable analytics anyone can read.
Local SEO requires hyper-local intent targeting. Almost every service-based business needs this!
Blogs are awesome if they are used authentically. The age of purely info-based content is over.
We can integrate your social media content directly into your website. Strategically, of course. We don't want visitors getting distracted!
Automatically add new reviews from review platforms (Google, Yelp, etc) directly into your website.
Let visitors book meetings, sessions and appointments directly through your site.
Email newsletters help turn your visitors into subscribers.
All of your legal policies (Privacy, Terms and Conditions, etc) will be automagically kept up to date. Giving your website 24/7 legal compliance.
We can integrate your website with any CRM tool you and your team are currently using. Or even make a custom one!
Think Zapier, Airtable, n8n, etc...
Not all hosting is created equal. If you want the Taco Bell of web hosting, Bluehost is waiting for you.
Get unlimited updates and fixes to your website. Done within 72 hours.
No call centers, no offshoring, just your friendly neighborhood Patrick. Based in North America, native English speaker, and fluent in Spanish if that is easier for you.

Everything you want to know about getting a website built for your HVAC company.
Make your emergency number huge, clickable on mobile, and impossible to miss. Sticky header, prominent placement, 'Click to Call' button.
Show starting prices for common services. 'AC replacement starting at $3,500' or 'Service call $95' helps qualify leads.
Yes. System replacements are expensive. Showing monthly payment options removes the sticker shock.
Make signup dead simple with clear benefits listed. Maintenance plans are recurring revenue gold.
Google Ads get you emergency calls today. For SEO, 60-90 days to rank for '[city] HVAC repair.'
Absolutely critical. Breakdowns get searched on phones, yet 22% of the HVAC sites I audited fail the mobile-friendly check. If yours loads slow, you've lost the call.
Big companies have overhead and slow response. You're local, fast, and personal. Speed beats scale for emergencies.
Yes. List the brands you install. Many homeowners research specific brands and want certified installers.
Reviews with before/after photos of installations are gold. Ask satisfied customers for photos of their new systems.
Very important. Show a map or list of cities/zip codes you serve. Clear service area information qualifies leads.
Not ready? Patrick has a message about what we believe in. No contracts, no hidden fees, no beating around the bush. Just honesty and results. Quick watch.
