Therapy specializations page
List what you treat like anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, or addiction clearly.
People seeking therapy are already anxious about taking the first step. A confusing website with no online booking or clear information about your specializations makes them give up and try another therapist.

Your psychology practice website must build trust and make scheduling easy while staying HIPAA-compliant. Here are the 6 essential features that fill your practice with quality clients:
List what you treat like anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship issues, or addiction clearly.
Let patients schedule initial consultations and ongoing sessions without calling during office hours.
Show that you offer both virtual therapy and office visits with technology requirements explained.
Display accepted insurance plans and session costs for out-of-pocket patients transparently.
Introduce yourself with degrees, licenses, therapeutic methods, and your client treatment philosophy.
Provide downloadable materials, coping strategies, and mental health education for current clients.
I sampled 3,539 psychology practices across 24 cities and audited every website I could find, 2,476 of them. Here is how the competition stacks up, and where it slips.
70 out of 100
Grade C That puts Psychologists tied 34th of 47 industries I audited.
Longer bar, more local sites getting it wrong. The most common miss: 76% of the sites I audited have no contact form on the homepage.
The average across all 91,904 websites I audited.
A chain location comes with a marketing department. These are the checks where the two groups split hardest. The widest gap is social profile links: 47% of independents against 86% of chains.
WordPress is behind 37% of the sites I audited here. Some sites run more than one and some I could not identify, so these do not add up to 100%.

Browse our psychologist website examples and see how we build sites that rank for specialty and insurance searches and lower the barrier to booking for people who are finally ready.
People searching for a psychologist are selective and cautious. Here is how we make sure your practice is findable, your approach comes through clearly, and the barrier to booking is as low as possible.
One long-term therapy client worth $4,000-8,000 annually covers three to seven years of your website. People search for a therapist when they hit a crisis point, so be findable.
Live in 1 week so people in crisis find you immediately. Bloated agencies take months for basic sites.
People search for therapists on phones during anxiety episodes or lunch breaks. Mobile insurance verification and booking tools lower barriers to care.
Built for specialty and insurance searches with provider schema. Psychology SEO needs specialty + insurance combinations. We optimize for specific practice areas.
Update therapy approaches, change availability, or add insurance accepted. Routine edits like these have a 72-hour target for practice logistics.
Work directly with Patrick. Therapeutic approach and practice positioning handled with the precision and empathy your work requires.
Real reviews from therapists we've built for. Read them and decide.
Read all 124 reviews across Google, social & podcast →Patrick does amazingly high quality website design and production at a very reasonable cost. He is very experienced, thoughtful, creative and responds to questions and concerns in a timely manner.

People take their time before reaching out, and your client portal respects that. It shows the consultation requests that came through the site and the pages that preceded them, without exposing anything a client wouldn’t want shared. Visitors are charted beside them. Any update you’ve asked for, from new availability to a new specialty, shows its status. Files, billing and a call with Patrick are one click away.
Hero photo’s swapped and live. Anything else this week?
Here is exactly what you get from day one.
A calm, professional website that ranks for specialty and insurance searches and lowers the barrier to that first appointment. Mobile-ready and fast.
We keep your site secure, updated, and running smoothly every month. Hosting, maintenance, and monthly reports all included.
On-page SEO built in from the start so your practice shows up when people are searching for a psychologist who specializes in what you treat.
Every site includes on-page SEO, calendar booking integrations, custom intake forms, automated legal policies, and website security. Everything a psychology practice needs to get found and lower the barrier to that first appointment, built in from day one.

Ask a psychology practice web designer what a site costs and watch them reach for a calculator. Ours is $95 a month, all of it included, with nothing to pay upfront. The site belongs to you from the first month, so start booking clients on day one and leave whenever you like.
How much do I pay today?
$0 to build. Design, words, illustrations, SEO, launch. Your first $95 is your first month, and you don’t pay a cent before your website is live and working for you.
Your first month. Nothing before it.
Is it really one number?
No Basic, Pro or Business. The $95 covers the build, hosting, on-page SEO, unlimited updates, monthly reports and direct access to Patrick. There’s no plan above it, because there isn’t one.
Do I actually own it?
Your domain, your design, your words, your data. The site belongs to you from the first month. Stay because you want to, not because you’re paying something off.
What if I want to leave?
No contract, no lock-in, no exit fee. We have to earn it again every 30 days, which is exactly the point. Go ahead and press the button.
Go on, press it.
That’s it. That’s the whole cancellation.
One long-term client covers years of payments. Get started and get a site that makes your practice findable and lowers the barrier to that first booking.
One plan, because you should not have to study a comparison table to buy a website. Every feature below is included from day one.
$95/month
$0 to build. No contract. Cancel anytime.
Your website is yours from day one.
Imagine what you could accomplish with more than just a Home, About and Contact page.
Hand-coded and served from Cloudflare's edge, not a page builder dragging its own weight around. Fast on any phone, on any connection.
No junky stock photos or cookie cutter icons here.
Great copywriting is the difference between a website that sells and one that doesn't.
Essentially this means making it as easy as possible for Google and AI to find you.
Forms that actually convert visitors into leads.
Plain, simple, straightforward, valuable analytics anyone can read.
Local SEO requires hyper-local intent targeting. Almost every service-based business needs this!
Blogs are awesome if they are used authentically. The age of purely info-based content is over.
We can integrate your social media content directly into your website. Strategically, of course. We don't want visitors getting distracted!
Automatically add new reviews from review platforms (Google, Yelp, etc) directly into your website.
Let visitors book meetings, sessions and appointments directly through your site.
Email newsletters help turn your visitors into subscribers.
Your Privacy Policy and Terms and Conditions are generated by Termly and updated as privacy laws change. Included, with nothing for you to maintain.
We connect your forms to the CRM you already use: HubSpot, Salesforce, Zoho and most tools with a Zapier or API connection. A custom system gets its own scope.
Think Zapier, Airtable, n8n, etc...
Not all hosting is created equal. If you want the Taco Bell of web hosting, Bluehost is waiting for you.
Changes to hours, photos, text and services are included. Routine edits have a 72-hour target; larger requests get an agreed scope and completion date.
No call centers, no offshoring, just your friendly neighborhood Patrick. Based in North America, native English speaker, and fluent in Spanish if that is easier for you.
Here is exactly how we go from zero to a live psychology practice website.
There's exactly one, and everything is in it. Tap the button, check out securely, and you're done in about two minutes.
No questionnaire. We research your business online and ask only for missing details or access. You review the site before it goes live.
Design, words, photos, SEO, forms, speed. We do all of it, and you see it before anyone else does.
We point your domain at our servers, handle every technical detail, and flip the switch.
Updates, fixes, reports, security, backups. Every month, for as long as you're with us, at no extra cost.

Everything you want to know about getting a website built for your psychology practice.
Absolutely. 'I help with anxiety and depression' is generic. 'Cognitive behavioral therapy for OCD and panic disorder' attracts the right clients.
Yes. Clients want to schedule sessions at 10 PM when they're ready, not call during office hours.
Show your session rate and whether you accept insurance or offer sliding scale.
In 2026, yes. Many clients prefer virtual sessions for convenience and privacy.
Credentials, specializations, therapeutic approach, and a compassionate tone throughout.
Very important. People research therapists on phones during difficult moments.
Be very specific. 'EMDR for PTSD and trauma' or 'CBT for OCD' attracts clients with those exact needs.
Both. Psychology Today brings clients, your website provides detail and books them.
Yes. A professional photo builds trust and helps clients feel like they know you before the first session.
Psychology Today and insurance directories bring clients faster than SEO. For organic web traffic, expect 6-12 months.
