We have already delivered for Corpus Christi businesses. See the work for yourself.
I sampled 3,792 Corpus Christi businesses across 45 industries, then audited the 2,073 websites among them. Here is where the score comes from, what those sites run on, and where the points are going.
71/100
Grade C, tied 17th of 24 cities I audited
The score is ten weighted checks, ranked here by what each one costs. The biggest single loss is blogging, at 6.7 of its 10 points. Longer bar, more points left on the table.
29 points of 100 left on the table. Track length is the check's weight, so a five-point check can never cost what a fifteen-point one does. Each check is averaged across the 45 markets, the same way the score itself is built, so these ten bars add back to the 71 above. The table at the foot of this section pools by sample size instead, which answers a different question and lands a little differently. Weights are on the methodology page.
I can tell a franchise or chain location from an independent, so here are both, on the checks where they split hardest. The widest gap is blogging: 29% of independents against 54% of chains.
Scale runs 0 to 100%. Only the checks where both groups were measured the same way are comparable, so speed and the meta checks sit this one out.
The platform behind each of the 2,073 homepages I audited, where I could identify one.
A platform was identified on 62% of audited sites. The rest are hand-built or run something the fingerprinting misses, and a site can match more than one, so these do not sum to 100%.
Every rate above has its own denominator. This is where they come from, out of the 5,321 Corpus Christi businesses in my listings census.
Of the sites that never made it into the audit, 268 would not load, 275 blocked me, and 74 turned out to be a social profile rather than a website. 513 of the businesses sampled are chain or franchise locations. Full method on the methodology page.

Quotes in Corpus Christi vary a lot. WebFX pegs a professionally designed small business site at $500 to $5,000+, with agency builds running $3,000 to $30,000+, and that doesn't include ongoing hosting or support. We charge $95 a month, and that covers everything: design, hosting, maintenance, security, and monthly reporting. The site is yours from the very first month. It's a better deal for small businesses that need a great website but can't justify a large capital expense.
Working with a Corpus Christi web designer has its appeal, but proximity doesn't guarantee quality or accountability. Plenty of small businesses hire remotely for web design now, and the work doesn't suffer for it. What you need is a designer who understands small business, communicates clearly, and is still reachable after the project ends. RapidWebLaunch works with businesses in Corpus Christi and across North America. My clients get a direct line to me, transparent flat-rate pricing, and a site that's actively maintained every month.
Freelancers offer a direct relationship and lower cost, but availability and post-launch support are genuine risks. Corpus Christi agencies offer structure but price themselves out of reach for most small businesses. The real answer is to find a provider that combines the accountability of direct founder access with the reliability of a proper support model. That's the gap RapidWebLaunch fills: one person, one price, ongoing maintenance included, no contract.
I ran this check myself. 29% of the 3,792 Corpus Christi businesses I sampled have no website at all, worse than the 17% national share, ranking the city 24th of 24 on website adoption in my Web Presence Index. Social media profiles and directory listings aren't a substitute. A proper website you own and control is still the foundation of any credible online presence.
Almost always yes. In BrightLocal's 2026 consumer survey, 97% of consumers read reviews for local businesses, and visiting the business's website is the most likely next step after positive reviews, at 54%. If your site isn't ready for that visit, the lead goes to a competitor who is. For Corpus Christi service businesses, the math is simple: one extra job a month more than covers the cost of a professional website.
A typical small business website takes a freelancer 4 to 8 weeks to deliver and an agency 8 to 16 weeks. At RapidWebLaunch, the average is 1 week. That kind of speed is only possible with a lean, direct process. No kickoff decks. No multi-round approval cycles. No account managers. You tell me what your business does and what you need, and I build it. The result is a professional, custom website live in days rather than months.
You can get traffic without SEO through paid ads, social media, and word of mouth. But organic search is the biggest channel most small businesses have. BrightEdge's channel research puts organic search at 53.3% of trackable web traffic, and unlike paid ads, organic traffic doesn't stop when your budget runs out. A website gives you the asset. SEO gives it visibility. Most small business owners eventually realize they need both.
It depends on what's broken. If the structure is solid but the design looks dated, a refresh might be enough. If the site is slow, not mobile-friendly, or built on an outdated platform, a full redesign is the better path. Stanford's Web Credibility Project found that people judge a site's credibility partly on how professional it looks, so a dated design works against you even when the content is accurate. The easiest way to know what you're dealing with is a free website audit from RapidWebLaunch at rapidweblaunch.com/resources/website-audits.
We built this business on being straightforward. No complicated agreements, no surprise charges, no chasing down support tickets. Patrick's video explains the whole thing in plain English.
