Changing your WordPress password is simple and can be done in a few short steps:
1. Login to your WordPress Dashboard: Go to your website’s login page, usually by adding /wp-admin or /wp-login.php at the end of your website’s URL. Enter your username and password to log in.
2. Access your Profile: Once logged in, locate the “Users” menu on the left sidebar. Click on “Your Profile” or simply “Profile,” depending on your version of WordPress.
3. Change your Password: Scroll down to the “Account Management” section. Here, you’ll find the “New Password” option. Click on the “Generate Password” button.
4. Create a New Password: WordPress will auto-generate a strong password, but you can choose to replace it with one of your own. Make sure your new password is strong and unique to enhance security.
5. Save your Changes: Click the “Update Profile” button at the bottom of the page to save your new password.
